Tryout Criteria

You will be required to learn and perform the following skills:

MHSAA 10-count

• Areas to be judged:  Voice, Precision, Placements, Group Coordination

Flexibility

• Areas to be judged:  Right Heel Stretch, Triple Splits (Right, Left, Center)

Jumping

• Areas to be judged:  Toe Jump, Right Herkie, Pike Jump

Gymnastics

• Areas to be judged:  Cartwheel, OA Cartwheel, Round-off, BWO, BHS, Tuck (optional), Pass (optional)
• Anyone wishing to be considered for Varsity must perform a BWO and BHS (spot optional)

Overall Impression

• Areas to be judged:  Leadership, Work Ethic, Commitment, Appearance
